Happy Air will be resuming flight services on December 14, with journeys to three domestic destinations from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The three initial destinations are Ranong, Nan and Mae Hong Son. The frequency to Nan and Mae Hong Son is twice a week and to Ranong three times a week. Happy Air has also taken delivery of a 33 seat Saab340A airplane and plan to add one or two more aircraft to its fleet next year to offer services from Bangkok to Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima and Hat Yai. Happy Air began its first flights on October 31, 2009, with a Phuket-Hat Yai service, but halted operations last May, because the aircraft were not suitable.

Andaman Wave Master have purchased a new vessel the Royal Jet Cruiser 9 and will commence its service in January 2012 with a new tour "Unseen Northern Phi Phi Island Tour." The ferry can hold 450 passengers and has three classes, standard, first class and premium class which has an executive lounge and access to an exclusive sun deck.
