Bang Tao Beach stretches eight kilometres and is the second longest beach in Phuket. The laid back resort area was historically home to a number of tin mines and is now more famous for the large Laguna resort complex, set around lakes and a golf course. Luxurious Laguna is situated on the north side of the beach, but there are plenty of mid-range Bang Tao Beach hotels & resorts towards the south for those with a smaller budget. Outside of the Bang Tao Beach hotels & resorts there are some tasty dining options both on the beach and in the village.
