"I love to sunbathe so staying at this hotel was ideal, as the beach is just a short walk across the road. The room was cozy and I had a great view of the beach from the fourth floor room I booked. The hotel in general was very clean and the staff were helpful.
We went on a few days out and hired a tuk tuk to go to Patong over the mountain road. Patong is much more lively than Karon at night, but there are plenty of restaurants in Karon and Kata which was good for a relaxing evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, the hotel pool is also nice and big."
"I stayed at Bangtao Tropical Residence for my honeymoon weekend in one of their deluxe rooms. The resort was close to Bangtao Beach but in a private location, which we found to be very peaceful. The room was really spacious with a large sofa in the living area, a kitchen, and huge balcony with a perfect sea view. It felt more like a holiday apartment than a hotel and we even prepared some meals in the room, even though the on site restaurant served delicious Thai food. The staff were there if we needed them, although we did enjoy the privacy on our special weekend."
"My family rent this pool villa for our holiday last month, we stayed for 2 weeks and would definitely come back again. The villa had all the facilities we needed and the location was great for activities and restaurants. Most days we relaxed by the pool, but the beach wasn't far away. There was plenty of space at the villa for all the family, the kids loved the en suite bathrooms."
"The best part about this resort was waking up every day to the buffet breakfast. The food selection was much better than many other 3 star hotels I have stayed in. The restaurant was set in beautiful surroundings too. We enjoyed staying at the pool side in the afternoons, the service at the pool bar was always friendly, my children really enjoyed themselves splashing around."
"I have been to Phuket many times for a holiday and always stay in Patong. I was pleased to discover the Lukkan Mansion on my most recent visit. The price is good and the rooms are very clean. I can walk to many shops and bars from the hotel which is on Nanai Road. The beach is a little further, but its no problem to walk. The staff are friendly and they serve a great fresh coffee!"

Ratchamaka Villa was in a great location for me, near to some supermarkets and within easy to access many beach areas as well as town. The house was clean and stylishly decorated, and had a fantastic kitchen where I could entertain my friends and colleagues. I have already booked to stay here on my next trip to Phuket."
"I brought my wife to stay 7 nights at this hotel and we were not disappointed. The highlight was the pool access room, it was wonderful to step out directly in to the swimming pool. It felt like our own villa, the pool was fantastic. We liked the room decoration and the staff were friendly too. Breakfast was good and varied so we didn't get bored of the same thing everyday. It was about 10 minutes walk to the beach, which we enjoyed to do after breakfast. Close by was the Jungceylon shopping centre which had many shops and restaurants, although we did like to try some of the street food."
"I wanted a hotel that was not on beachfront, because it is usually so crowded, but not too far from the beach. I like to rent a car while in Phuket, and this hotel was convenient for me to drive out of Patong to other locations and not too far from the beach. The price was very reasonable for the comfortable rooms at the hotel. I would stay here again next time."
"I stayed here for 2 nights and liked the location most of all. I could easily walk around town from the hotel and explore the Old Town as well as the shopping and market areas. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The staff were efficient and spoke good English. I would recommend this hotel to business travellers and to people that like to see a different side of Phuket away from the beaches and main tourist areas."
